April Snow Sucks. Buffalo Chicken, on the other hand, does not!

Options
29F and "spitting snow" sucks in mid April. BUT, making some shredded buffalo chicken does not suck at all.

Screw Mother Nature...

And I bottled a batch of white and red wines each today, too!

    Looks good.

I was in KC for a week about two weeks ago.   Got some good BBQ at Jack Stack BBQ.  Good burnt ends!

That's the way to just say "screw Mother Nature."  Great looking chix but even better with your personal wine hobby.
Louisville; Rolling smoke in the neighbourhood. # 38 for the win.  Life is too short for light/lite beer!  Seems I'm livin in a transitional period.

Second on the recipe. I know this is an Egg forum, but that looks like it'd adapt well to a mid week slow cooker meal.

My favorite KC BBQ joint - Martin City.  Olathe not so much. Downtown was pretty good.  And their burnt ends are the best.

    Here's my recipe!

    Frank's Red Hot Shredded Chicken

Cook boneless, skinless chicken breasts in Dutch oven with Frank's red hot buffalo for about 4.5 hrs @ 275°

    INGREDIENTS:

3 lbs raw boneless skinless chicken breasts

12 oz bottle of Buffalo wing sauce
1 oz packet of dry Ranch mix
    2 tablespoons butter

    DIRECTIONS:
Place the chicken breasts in dutch oven.

Pour the bottle of wing sauce over the top of the chicken.

Sprinkle the packet of ranch mix over the top of the wing sauce.

DO NOT place the lid on your dutch oven!!

Cook 275F  for 4-5 hours until meat shreds easily.
Remove meat and shred it using two forks.

Return shredded meat to the sauce and add the butter.

    Stir to combine.

Continue to cook on low for another hour so the meat can soak up the sauce.

I am the one person in the world that really does not like Buffalo Chicken. Even so, that looks like everyone else would find it delicious.

Holy cow dude.  Next time I make my buffalo chicken ranch dip, I'm doing my chicken this way.  Normally I just grill my chicken, cube, and then mix it with with the franks, and cream cheese.  Putting in baking dish and top with shredded cheese.
