Spinach Lasagna

Been wanting to eat Lasagna for a while and while it's super cheap to buy at the store, there is nothing like home made, even though it's 5 times the cost (in my case).

Started by making my own hamburger from Costco 'Simmering Short Ribs'

Smoked on the large Egg

The MM was busy with the onions and peppers

Home made Spinach pasta - Blentec

All on the Large which is still waiting, the end result.

The plate, it was great!  leftovers all week.

Thanks for looking.

I may have to turn in my BGE card for this, but I’ve actually wanted to cook lasagna on the egg for a long while.

How long did you egg it? Any other veg in there? Did you sauté them first to dry them out a bit? Lotsa questions.

And quite awesome that you made the spinach pasta!

    You did it right.
Almost anything you make at home will be better and more expensive than factory food.

Took about 1hr for the hamburger, then maybe 45 min for the lasagna- cooks faster because it's fresh pasta, have made it several times with packaged which is also good.  350 for both.

Consist of hamburger (smoked), onions and peppers (baked / fried in MM not for long, just to soften them up a bit), Cottage Cheese, Tex Mex Marble mix, mushrooms - didn't have fresh on hand so used a can from my chili stock.

Sauce used was costco kirkland marinara sauce.

It looks like a mess ... But tasted good.  Thanks.
