Pork Ribs Left in Fridge

Went to CostCo a couple months ago and picked up a package of pork ribs. Placed it in my secondary fridge and forgot about it. It remains in the original costco sealed heavy duty bag. I know beef can wet age.

What about pork? Can it go 2 months in the fridge and be safe?

I am likely to only use half the pack. Am I pushing my luck vacuum sealing the other half and freezing it til a later date?

What is the use by or freeze date? Personally I am edgy about pork and would probably toss it...........But Look and Smell the Funk First -If it is typical Cryo Smell and it dissipates quik then it is probably OK

I believe the ribs are bad. check the sell by date and if over 3 days beyond that toss them.
