Blackstone issue

Got my 36 finally and put it together today. Box was pretty beat, a few things have dents. Major issue is one of the little griddle legs that sit into the frame sits proud. The top can wobble back and forth if you push on it. I cant find the issue with a straightedge. Any thoughts? Its on the back right corner

Washers?

Nothing a couple washers won't fix. I used washers on mine from the start to ensure grease drained properly~ John - https://www.instagram.com/hoosier_egger

Did the washer thing myself, don't remember the size though.

Call blackstone. You will get a real person from the US (Logan, UT) that will help you. They will probably send a new griddle top to you. I had an issue with the griddle on a 17”. I sent the picture of how it was warped and a new one was in the mail. I asked how to send the old one back and they told me to keep it. It now sits in my gasser. Works great except the bacon grease rolls to all the edges.

With 4 legs it is going to be hard to find the offending leg with a straight edge. Remember 3 points will rest flat, but 4 will not! I forget the math law that is called! Instead place the top on something like your kitchen counter that you know is flat. Then the offending leg will be easy to determine. Then measure that distance and go to any good hardware store and buy the washer or washers you might need. If the size is hard to measure then fender washers which are thin will let you sneak up on the exact thickness you want.Re-gasketing America one yard at a time.
