This charity cook is providing for the Harrison Central High School Indoor drumline!! It will fully cover the costs for over 20 students to join the band for a year and pay to replace their PA system that broke last month.

They sold 300 tickets and counting for $10 a piece.

Outstanding gesture.  Great shot as you close in on the finish-line.

Did you have help with the over-night stick watch?

Yep. I do most of these types of charity cooks at the store. They charity pre-sells tickets then show up at 11 to make plates and serve as the ticket holders show up! Then we will take the leftovers to the fire departments, police dispatch and if we still have some it will go in the freezer here at the dealership. (my local food banks won't take it because I'm not serve-safe)

I use cotton gloves covered by nitrile gloves. This lets me handle the heat if I don't have time to properly rest the meat. I have tried bear claws, the drill puller and by hand is the best. Lets you feel out hard spots and fat and remove it as you go.
