Then perhaps this 19" Cuisinart via Amazon at $99 will be just right.

Comes with a hose to hook right up to a 20lb propane tank so no need to buy an adapter.

I looked at those briefly but did not like the porcelain coated cooking surface.

Just recently purchased the 22". IMO it's the perfect size. I had the 36", way too big for my needs.

As mentioned earlier, that has a porcelain coated surface. For me, that's a deal breaker. Just no way that porcelain surface isn't going to get chipped.

What does a 36” SS sell for? My local ace has had a 36” SS for a year now priced at $399 this on display. Trying to get the manager to cut me a deal because $399 seems really high

The $399 seems to be MSRP (its on their site for that much).

I have a 36"X 22" Flat Top Griddle from Academy Sports! I love it as it gives me plenty of room to cook my Potatoes, Onions, Green Peppers and Mushrooms on one end and the Eggs, Bacon or Sausage on the other end. It has four burners and runs on Propane. Most of the time I am cooking on low to Medium low. I tink the larger size works great especially when you're cooking a bunch.

I have two of the 22"s. I bought one from HSN and they messed up the order and never shipped it out like their confirmations and charges to my card suggested. They refunded the money and gave me credit for when it came back in stock. It took a long time so I bought one off of Facebook marketplace directly from Blackstone (Blackstone is a Utah company). All of the cookers that are sent back are unloaded on facebook marketplace for a discount (mine was never used, just returned). Eventually the 22" came back in stock on HSN and I figured I'd use their credit to get another one. So I have two, and the drip design is the best of all of their griddles. Thing cooks so awesome I took the 36" to leave at my moms house permanently for big gatherings, and the 2 22"s are the same cooking area (or more) than one 36". I still have a 17" that I use for portability, but to be honest, if the 22" had come out before the 17", I would have never bought the 17". Good griddle but the 22" seems so much bigger, yet it isn't. Some sort of physics voodoo.

Now having used my 17" I think its OK for 2 maybe 3 or 4. I regret not getting a 22 (or waiting it seems) as I think the extra real estate would be nice when needed. Further having two zones would be nice. That and perhaps the igniter on the 22 isn't the joke on the 17. I have to use my egg torch to get the thing lit.

I have a 22 and at first it seemed the igniter wasn't working.

What I found I need to do is turn the burner knob just enough to start hearing gas flowing and then twist it that little bit more that if fires off the spark. Can usually get it lit on the first try but sometimes it still takes a couple attempts.

Go with the Blackstone 22". It is the perfect size. Don't worry about a few bucks. I promise you, when you are on your deathbed, thinking back on your life and sharing your wisdom with your loved ones, you WON'T say "I really wish I hadn't spent those extra dollars on the Blackstone 22"."

I hear the the gas flow, I hear the click and see the spark but it seems the spark isn't meeting the gas.

Lift off the griddle top and visually see if it's sparking and if it is check to make sure the burner or ignitor did not shift out of place.

I've taken the griddle off to light it, I can see the spark shoot out towards the burner but its either not reaching or not doing something. I'll check to see if the ignitor or burner are out of whack.
