Spicy pecan smoked chili

Wanted some chili for the cooler weather provided by the remnants of Irma. Most will be frozen and served while camping or tailgating. Easy cook, delicious and the smoke adds a bit of sweetness.

Have you guys ever made chili with pulled pork? I haven't just wondering. Didn't know if it's worth trying.
  • Looks really good Ron. Love me some chili! Will bookmark for sure and give it a try soon. BTW, you have the same china we do - Italian Countryside by Mikasa.

I have in the same ratio as this. It is very good. You will not have to smoke the chili, because the pulled pork will give it the flavor.

Great minds! Did 3 serving/food saver bags for camping. Freeze then dump in a pot of hot water over a campfire to warm up and serve.

I've been meaning to make some chili. I have some venison in the freezer and some beans in the pantry. Your chili looks great. Thanks for the reminder.

Now that's a very tasty looking chili. No better way to kick off fall than with a pot of chili with beans.
