WiFi Temp Monitors.

I'm in the market for a Wifi temp monitor.
I'm looking at the following models:
Fireboard      https://www.fireboard.com/
Tappeque     http://www.tappecue.com/
Thermoworks ThermaQ Wifi    http://www.thermoworks.com/ThermaQ-WiFi

Do any forum members have experience with any of these devices? or do you recommend something else.

    The WiFi gateway for the Thermoworks Smoke is now available so that is another option for a solid WiFi thermo.

    I love my Thermoworks Smoke, haven't added the wifi gateway yet but am ordering it soon. I have drank the Thermoworks Kool Aid. I have a Thermopen and 2 DOTS, love them all.

    Greg, I got the Thermoworks WiFi kit a few weeks ago. It's built like a tank and uses the professional probes. Have not used it on a cook, just dry tests so far but really like it.

    I'm getting pretty used to asking Alexa everything. My Stoker won't tell her anything. I think the fire board will.

    The only concern I have with the Thermoworks is the number or probes that can be used with it. It would be nice to have six probes like the Fireboard supports.
    I do have a Thermoworks MK4 that I really like. Seems to be very good quality.
    The ThermaQ-WiFi-Kit is pricey for what it is, but if is well built and will last, it may be worth the cost.

    Darian, Would you mind checking to see how well yours works when the internet connection is off? (At your convenience, no hurry)
    What I'm wanting to know how well it works when it's only connected to your local WiFi and not the internet.
    I have read on the Themoworks site that it will work this way after it has been setup. Apparently it has to be setup initially on the internet.

    Thermoworks indicates it will work this way, however it's apparently very slow to update.

    Yes, update is slow compared to many, like 60 seconds. But in real world use, 1 minute bursts is plenty fast for me. For me, it was about the better probes and one simple to use devise. Time will tell.

    Yes, update is slow compared to many, like 60 seconds. But in real world use, 1 minute bursts is plenty fast for me. For me, it was about the better probes and one simple to use devise. Time will tell.
    A one minute update time is plenty fast for me also. 
    I was concerned that if my web connection went down, the ThermaQ wouldn't work. I loose internet very rarely, but I would hate to have a thermometer I couldn't use. That's what makes me a little concerned about the Fireboard, from what I've read, it won't work without an internet connection.

    I am on board with the FireBoard also.  I'm running 2 pit temps and 4 meat temps.  This thing keeps up with everything.

    You can connect to the FireBoard via Bluetooth when WiFi is not available.
