Birthday brisket

well its not really my forte but I like to try. For my 41st I spent the day pulling up my fence and cooking a brisket. Cooked at 300 the whole time. Rubbed with mix of black ops and @SOUTHERNLINKSBBQ steak and brisket rub. Not too shabby.

Thanks guys. It was great. And mrs pharm made me banana pudding. I had to wait a couple hours after gorging on brisket but I ate my share of that stuff, too. Capped off a great day.
Oh yeah, woke up to some fine birthday cards from my 9 yr old and 6 yr old.
Barretts my 6 yr old. He's in kindergarten and just learning to write.

Thanks everybody. The fence wasnt too bad. Once I got the wire off and rolled I just pulled all the posts up with my tractor.
As far as smoke ring, I dont know why but I always get one. I usually put cherry in with the lump but I didnt this time. I had a bag of jack daniels briq's that were spilled in the carport so I threw a few of those in with the rockwood.Little Rock, AR
