Brandon,
Don't worry at all. Leave the ribs on and just start getting the temp back between 225-250. The only harm is they may get done a little earlier than expected.

Hasenpheffer,thanks so much for the advice. I closed the bottom vent all the way. I'll crack it open a bit when my temp. starts falling(probably hours)....:)

If your temp only got to 270 it really should not take that long to get it back down. You'll be proud once you bite into those ribs. :-)
