Found some frozen tuna I caught a while back. And SRF Filets. In a warm sink then seared.

Warmed it to 110 in the sink. Seared on cast iron on the egg. The tuna was blackened but wasn't optimal as it had been in the freezer too long but was still pretty decent. The steaks were outstanding.

Thanks for looking.

Thanks @RedSkip. That was a good day. To be honest, it was our 5th tuna trip and the first time we ever pulled one in. So I feel bad that I lost track of some of the filets I cut for over a year, because they effectively cost me over $100/pound.

It's all about the experience! I daren't think about the cost per night camping in my van, but the memories are so much better than staying in a hotel.

Very true @Eoin.  All the trips were fun and only once did we come back empty-handed.  On all the other trips we picked up some striped bass and bluefish.

@caliking, yes there were 6 of us who pretended to catch it. Here's another pic. One of my son's buddies laying next to it. He's 6'2".
