I was already in a Spring time mode! It snowed yesterday and I shoveled the deck so I could roast a butterflied leg of lamb. Today I was going to Spatchcock a chicken. Took one look and changed my mind.

That sucks, where are you located? We are in spring mode here as well. Way to early, but we are. Was 22C / 72F here on the weekend, our snow has been gone for awhile, but we will still get a dump or 2 before summer. The snow wont stop me from cooking on the egg, but I agree, it sucks.

I don't mind egging in the snow in winter. But egging in the snow in spring is not something I would look forward to.

Yet another advantage the BGE offers BBQ enthusiasts: the ceramic walls are thick and insulate the oven against ambient cold temperatures. Thin walled metal grills would be less efficient amd require more fuel to be burned i would think....

i was out in the boat, snow and 60 mph winds, the windows were caked solid in ice, reels semi frozen, deck iced over,trolling for salmon, no fish caught but i had the lake to myself
