I plan on making one tonight and was wondering should I use pizza sauce or BBQ sauce?

bbq sauce - the pizza sauce would mask the smoky flavor of the PP. Although, I am really not a fan of PPP.

I usually use an olive oil infused with herbs when I do PP pizza. Sautee some basil, oregano and a little garlic in some olive oil and strain it through a cheesecloth.

I use a 50/50 mix of pizza sauce and bbq sauce. I find full strength bbq sauce a little overpowering. And go easy on whatever sauce you use.

I went with pizza sauce as a base and drizzled Smokin Hoggz BBQ sauce over the top tonight. I was happy with the results.

We always use BBQ sauce. No need to use a ton. Just coat the dough.
