We just purchased a big green egg. We are having trouble getting the lid to stay up. Would the auto-lock band take care of this problem?
Also, how much is it and where do we purchase it.[p]Thank you.[p]Barbara Buntin

    With the Standard bands, make sure that when you open the lid all the way that you pull both of the hinges toward you so they lock in place. They should have no problem holding the lid open.[p]As for the auto-lock band, the dealer that you purchased the egg from should be able to get the parts that you need. Also, you could also call the BGE store in Atlanta and they will mail-order it for you.[p]Hope this helps,
