Nashville hot chicken, good sir, is not arguably the greatest thing you can do to honor a chicken's death. Spicy fried chicken. If you are ever in the area stick your head in Hattie B's...it's a religious experience.

Yeah I have been down that way. Bought a pig in that area once. (Not to eat, when I was in college my mom refused to return my truck so I bought a pot bellied pig and threw it in the back of her Honda. Long story short I got my truck back)

I just got back from Nashville today and I had some of Hattie B's Hot Chicken last night. That was some good food.

It's good stuff.I used ancho chili powder, cayenne pepper, garlic powder, black pepper, Louisiana Hot sauce and frying oil for the baste.I let the chicken sit in the fridge overnight rubbed with DP Swamp Venom. Then breaded with four, dipped in egg/milk/hot sauce mixture and dredged in the flour mix again before frying.In Manchester, TNVol For Life!

Cookinbob my dad and I were just sayin we couldn't believe someone didn't come in to convice Prince's to expand before hattie b's kinda cornered the market. That stuff is so good. (And not quite as salty) But I wouldn't touch that extra hot.
