1 1/4" pork steaks

Got 2 bone in butts cut into 1 1/4 " pork steaks. Going on the XL tomorrow.
Are these to thick for a 250 raised direct cook ?

I like to sear them direct then place in a cast iron frying pan with lid some sauteed onions, diced tomatoes some rice and liquid, usually chicken broth, bring all to a boil and reduce heat to 225-250 covered for 15-20 minutes until the rice cooks.

I would just grill them. Temp to about 145. The thread title says 1/4 chops...I thought hell, just run them under hot water. ..Green egg, dead animal and alcohol. The "Boro".. TN
