New Home for the BGE

Today they started framing the new outdoor kitchen - the new home for my BGE.
Can't wait until I can use it in the back yard instead of standing beside the garage. I think it will feel very good in it's new home.

Here is the actual home for the BGE - I'm so excited to see it installed. They ordered the granite countertops today so they will hopefully be installed in about 2 weeks.

This is a picture looking across the yard to the kitchen area. That's a waterfall on the other side. Plus there are two fire pits on different levels. Can't wait for it all to be done and to start getting the landscaping in. Oh, and there is a waterfall at the far end by the kitchen.

Ok, to respond to some of the comments. It is an XL BGE - we do A LOT of entertaining so I need it. There will also be a full gas grill next to it.I have over an acre of lawn around the house so didn't need more here - there is also lawn on each end for seating and just relaxing. It is just not visible from the picture and is actually not even there yet.Yes, there are a lot of rocks, but it builds the retaining wall and adds a lot of texture to the yard. Once planted around it will soften it up a lot and really make it nice.Yes, it is nice being me - I have worked very hard to get to this point of my life to just enjoy it.It is hard to see it all, but here is a picture taken from the roof to try to give an overview of the project.AND Lastly - if any of you are ever in Spokane, Washington - just let me know and you will be welcome for dinner.

We finally finished our outdoor kitchen with BGE built in. I'm so happy with how it turned out. I fixed 18 racks of ribs for the first party - that's a lot of ribs in one XL Egg - I would not recommend it but they still turned out really amazing after 6 hours of slow smoking. I'm looking forward to many years of fun cooking and entertaining.
