Underbite...a problem?
itsmce
Posts: 410
I have read about other's BGE under bites and have realized that I have a bit of an underbite too. Is this really a problem? Here's a pic of the gasket on the front of my LBGE. It's fairly clear the amount of offset.

Should not be a problem, you can loosen the bands and readjust every thing then retighten.Should work, but not necessary.

Not a problem...just irritating is all. I got mine resolved when I finally purchased and new hinge assembly. I went at least 2 years with the underbite and it still cooked great.Joe - I'm a reformed gasser-holic aka 4Runner Columbia, SC Wonderful BGE Resource Site: http://www.nakedwhiz.com/ceramicfaq.htm and http://www.nibblemethis.com/ and http://playingwithfireandsmoke.blogspot.com/2006/02/recipes.html
