It's time to buy a "pot" for my large egg. Need to know the size of dutch oven, should it have legs , flat top?? Plan to use it for stews and chili, maybe other sides. What brands are being used?

I use a Lodge 4 Quart with legs and flat top. It has a handy swing up wire handle. I am not sure how much heavier a pot could be put on a Large plate setter. I have started to set it on the grill with tiles under the legs. Pretty neat set up and it came with a chart that shows how many briquettes go on top for a certain temperature. After a couple of cooks, you can just use the lump and guess at it pretty well. 4 Qt fits nicely and doesn't take a lot to heat it up. Always plenty of food. My 2 cents.
