OT Treagars at Costco

Walking through Costco today and there was a Traeger rep there with a display, so started to ask him about his product. He was telling about it, I did a lot of listening, ask some questions too. After a bit he asked if I do BBQ, I said "yes I do." He then asked me what kind of grill I had. When I told him I had an couple of eggs, he became pretty quiet and wasn't' quite as promoting as he had been. I guess he knew that I wouldn't been much of a convert.

I'm surprised he shut up. When I worked at Costco we got all kinds of complaints about them being "overzealous".

Yea I might have set him up a little bit LOL I was asking him how the dial worked and what temperature the high setting is. He told that the high setting relates to 450 degrees, that is when I asked, "so can you sear steaks with it?? He kind of sheepishly replied, yea you can get some grill marks on the meat. A friend of mine has a Treager and he loves it, to each his own.
