Probe question

Thinking of buying a Thermoworks high temp probe. Does anyone know how this particular probe attaches to the grill surface? They do have one that attaches by an alligator clip but it has a lower temp range.

I guess just lay it on the grate. I have the alligator clip as I don't need to know grate temp above 300.Joe - I'm a reformed gasser-holic aka 4Runner Columbia, SC Wonderful BGE Resource Site: http://www.nakedwhiz.com/ceramicfaq.htm and http://www.nibblemethis.com/ and http://playingwithfireandsmoke.blogspot.com/2006/02/recipes.html

stick it through a potato or onion so it is floating and you wont get possible false readings from the grill grid.
