Any suggestions for beef butts? Can I treat it just like a pork butt?

Beef shoulder clod? Yes, do it like a pork butt. I pull it at a higher temp. 205* normally works for me.

I tried Clay's pulled beef recipe a few weeks ago and it was awesome.

clay Q's is awesome but that is a chuckie. You don't need to braise a shoulder like that recipe calls for with a chuckie (but it would still be awesome if you did).Shoulder clod is awesome when done just like a pork butt.Keepin' It Weird in The ATX FBTX

He is a link you might find interesting:IMHO clod is one of the hardest pieces of meat to cook and get right, but when it is cooked right it is heaven in your mouth.Cook it low and slow your patience will be rewarded.Large, small and mini now Egging in Rowlett Tx
