I Shoulda Known Better Than to take a Week's Vacation...

When my mother-in-law is within 500 miles!! She lives in south Florida and every year she drives north stopping here and there to visit people along the way. It's true she has spent about six weeks living under my roof since the beginning of May. She stays, then she goes somewhere for a wee or two, then she comes back...you get the picture. After learning when her last "goodbye" for this trip would be, I booked my week vacation and a minor medical procedure for this week so I could recuperate in blissful peace without her. You guessed it, she's back! WTF!!! I'm not sure what I did to bring this on myself, but doctor's orders or not, it's time to hang in the garage and do some serious drinking!!

@travisstrick - This is true, but I never claimed to be perfect. Talk to me after your MIL stays at your house for six weeks and then makes an unexpected curtain call. Does your MIL insist on doing just about everything her way? Mine does. Last year mine re-organized my bedroom closet. I don't have many skeletons, but man what balls! This year she re-organized my garage and naturally I lost something in the process.

You seem to want to engage in a game of "Gotcha!" with me because of my faith. I don't recall being critical of you, sir. Like I said, I'm not perfect.
