porcelain grill grate

I have had my egg for about 1.5 yrs and I was looking at my porcelain grill grate the other day and it looks like the coating is bubbling.  Is this possible from getting to hot.  I Just got a wok and have been putting it on a wok ring on top of the grate.  Is this something that is covered under warrenty?

    Porcelain grills are notorious for the porcelain cracking off.  Usually the underlying metal rusts and forces the porcelain off.  You can call your dealer to ask if it is covered by the warranty.
