Slow cook burgers?

Has anyone slow cooked burgers? Thinking 250 until internal temp medium rare.

Are you grinding your own meat?

I think slow cooked will work, just will lack the crust from the sear. Never done them that way. Good luck!

I've done smoked indirect burgersamy times at 275 and they're great

I have smoked burgers at 275 or so till medium doneness. After that I take the heat to 350 or so direct and finish them off with a nice char. I do a lower temp at first to ensure they dont get cooked too quickly and have a nice smoke ring.

They were great. Cooked at 250 direct with raised grate until just before finished then took them of and let the temp go up to over 500 to sear each side and melt the cheese.
