AR Cook Yesterday, No Pics, Just Sayin' ....

Options
We had some friends over yesterday for a pool party and corner-stoned the feedings with a left over pulled pork shoulder from Memorial Day so we threw that in the crock pot with some apple juice and BBQ sauce and warmed it up. The friends brought some sides. Still had the Egg set up for the shoulder, which was a stone on the lower rack, and a grid on the middle and upper levels. Stirred the ashes to fall through, threw in some new lump, put the pizza stone on the top level and fired that mother up setting sail for 400F dome. The plan was to cook a pair of Costco cheese pizzas for the kids. While they were going at it in the pool we threw half dozen ears of corn on the middle level and a dozen wings on the pizza stone (covered it with foil first). When they were done threw a pack of hot dogs on the middle level and cooked the pies. Our friends were amazed with the food and the Egg and the AR. They didn't know you could do all this while knocking back a few IPAs and playing with the kids in the pool. Welcome to our world ......
