OO is in Arkansas. Only 1 store in AR has it for that. It's $11 here in austin. Further you get from AR the higher its going to be. $14 is high but probably only by $1 or $2. Go buy RO at TSC.Keepin' It Weird in The ATX FBTX

My dealer sales the 10# bag of OO for 15$ it's a rip off but no reflection of product.
Complaining about a price is asinine._______________________________________________XLBGE -
Wow 14 is a good deal, around these parts 10 lbs of lump goes for 16 and up, im sure there might be better somewhere but I have yet to see it, 20 lbs, goes around 30 bucks. Freaking west coast.

@rholt - I think bbqguys.com has a better price and shipping is reasonable. But i would be wary about having lump shipped to you since the shipper might bang it up and break the big pieces into little ones. Maybe worth a try though. Or be nice to @henapple and lure him to Lubbock.#1 LBGE December 2012 • #2 SBGE February 2013 • #3 Mini May 2013A happy BGE family in Houston, TX.

Shipping usually doubles the cost of the lump. Rule of thumb.

Here in the Land of Kentucky Jelly I found a reasonably close (25 miles-one way) independent charcoal and BBQ equipment dealer that stocks WGWW (found thru their distribution link and has since been black-balled >- ) and Ozark Oak. Each product goes for $1/#-and unless bulk (pallet) shipping, that beats on-line orders. I guess you never know where you can find different brands of lump. They also carry Real Montana Apple and never in stock Maple. Also became a dealer for Blues Hog-sometimes you get lucky.Louisville; Rolling smoke in the neighbourhood. # 38 for the win. Life is too short for light/lite beer! Seems I'm livin in a transitional period.

I used to live in Lubbock that is here I gained my love for q. If you are talking outdoor chef Ray is a bit pricey but a great guy. He does make some custom rubs that I great his competition pig rub is fantastic and I snag a few bottles everytime I go. Also if you buy volume and frequent there a lot he will work with you on price a bit.
If your not talking there it's a pretty cool shop but out of the way since the city went wet and no more need to make strip runs. -
Even here in Arkansas, Ozark Oak is typically $10 a bag. It's just the Harps stores that have a great deal. I recently called the Harps in Fort Smith and one near Oklahama City to check, and they both said they carry it at $5.24.
So, if you're in eastern Oklahoma, or Southern Missouri, or Arkansas, you might want to go find a Harps.

A couple of months ago I saw somewhere that it's a bit over $3 if you go to the plant. Henapple's probably got a reserved parking spot up there.

Wow. Lots of replies on this one. I basically wanted to see if this particular dealer was jacking the price way up but it appears that it's not as bad as I perceive. I will definitely be ordering it online with the free shipping. Thanks all.

@rholt, Oo is really good. Lights quick and smells great. Have used 3 of the bags that Henapple brought me and have zero neg issues.
I just found a travelling nurse in our ER who is from some where 10 miles to the factory/plant. Now I need to woo him into the task of fetching me a whole truck load. How does one woo another male? That sounds so gay.

Good luck wooing him. Perhaps bringing him some egged food with the promise of more upon delivery will do the trick.
