Well researched I tell you!! Getting time off work as a lab tech was half the reason for the delay.gotta travel across the province to pick it up so I need to be off for a few days in a row...not easy with little staff.

I almost don't remember the day(s) when mine was that clean.  Better have some gloves for picking it in and out of your egg... my fingers get way too greasy/sooty without them.

All dressed up and no place to go. Congrats on having the toys before the egg, you will be pleased.
I almost bought a PII Napy, great grill if you mod the burners.

I would suggest lump hording and keeping a few bags on hand at all times.

    Happy egging!

Here on the left coast we call them Ukrainian Brake and Wheel. Some of our bigger stores have it all year, RO that is. Can you find any Basques?

Don't make it Star Wars Episode 1. Don't get me wrong, it's the best BBQ pit I've ever owned. I know it's all you've thought about at least since December, so understand that "you" will be a factor in your first cook. If you don't knock it out of the park, learn from it, and kick ass the next cook.

What are you planning on tackling your first cook? Do you have a thermapen?

Most do spatch their first cook. While chicken is fabulous on the egg, I would change it up and do some ribs if you're comfortable enough.

Eager to see some cook threads!
