Just got one of these things from Woot-

I just got a griddle Q for my large. I am pretty excited to get either some fajitas going or Philly cheese steaks, but the darn thing did not come with instructions. Do any of you have one of these things? I am wondering if it needs to be seasoned or not?
Any suggestions?

I own one and love it. Very versatile. You don't have to season it. Have fun with it.Go Hogs Go

Ok, that looks very interesting, might try ( hey, let me know ). As far as seasoning, don't think so cause it appears stainless steel.

Hope you like it. I gave mine away. No seasoning needed, just cook on it and clean it.Salado TX & 30A FL: Egg Family: 3 Large and a very well used Mini, added a Mini Max when they came out (I'm good for now). Plus a couple Pit Boss Pellet Smokers.

@CAT Seller All I do to clean it is get it hot, throw about 1/2-1 cup of water on it and scrub with a brush. Then soak water up with some paper towels. Easy to clean and takes only a couple of minutes. As you know, it is fun to use.Go Hogs Go

@Evans, thanks for the tip. From what i have read, everyone says to scrub it with a griddle "brick".If it ain't a CAT, it's a dog!!! 2 LBGE's & BGE Backyard Chef Edition Cart

Evans, what dome temp do you generally cook at using the griddle? Do you vary it depending on what you are cooking on it?If it ain't a CAT, it's a dog!!! 2 LBGE's & BGE Backyard Chef Edition Cart

That is pretty cool...would like to see it in action.$66 on Amazon with prime shipping.Which came first the chicken or the egg? I egged the chicken and then I ate his leg.

@CATSeller I generally cook between 350-400 on it no matter what I'm cooking. I cook Japanese hibachi, breakfast, burgers, fajitas, and a bunch of others things on it. Like I said, it is a great accessory. It even fits my Weber gasser pretty well. I have owned it for 2 years and it still looks new. The thing, as you know, is built like a tank and weighs like one.Go Hogs Go
