been trying to duplicate rochette beans, its a local bean from lowell massachusettes and not the traditional style boston baked that everyone here makes. pound of navy beans, an onion, a quarter pound salt pork, and an 1/8 cup ketchup, bake for 6 hours. this is as low carb and low sugar as it gets for beans. mickey...this is called beans no chili

Sounds, and looks good. Baked at what temp. about 350?

Never heard of that before. They look good. Cool pot.

I think they need some jalapenos. And cilantro. And beer. And ro-tel. Wait...that would be boracho beans. Never mind.

overnight soak then350 for about 5 hours covered then another hour uncovered adding water as needed, as plain jane as you can get, add pepper ketchup and an egg at the table
