Friday Night's Alright.....For Boston Butt

Taking my second shot at an overnight boston butt.  Lots of lump and Sam Adams Pumpkin Ale, plus a beauty of a 9.15 LB roast.  Pics to follow....

    That Sam Adams Pumpkin Ale is good.  You should be just fine.

  • It's on -- 11:30 p.m.  Now just to monitor the temp and make sure it holds before heading to bed, fingers crossed.
  • Good news is that I woke up and the temp had only dropped to 180.  Going to give it a little stoke and get it locked in again and we should be good to go.  It has been on for 7:40 now and is at 153.
