    Just as an update. Stopped by the Auto place yesterday, Picked up 2 tubes of Permatex. 
    Using a clean Popsicle stick I applied a thin layer of it wherever the gasket got pulled (4 places!), spread it a bit thin, and then laid the gasket back into it, and closed the lid. 

    After all the Nomex was only 4 cooks in, and still mostly attached. 

    Doing a pork butt right now. I'll update after it's done how it's going.  
    Bx - > NJ ->TX!!! 
    All to get cheaper brisket!

    Thanks for the update. So far the Rutland adhesive is holding. If it fails I'll use permatex.

    FYI, pulled pork with Byrons Butt Rub very good. Grilled Bone in pork chops...Very good.
    Permatex orange to hold Nomex in place, Very, Very Good. Holding nice and secure.

    Bx - > NJ ->TX!!! 
    All to get cheaper brisket!
