Adjustable Rig and Ceramic Grill Store Experience

I recently purchased a Large Adjustable Rig and wanted to share some thoughts...

- This was a pricey purchase (for me) and I actually cooked on my egg for about 6 months using some jimmy rigged setups for indirect and multi-level cooking just so I could postpone this purchase in order to get enough experience using the egg to know if it was right for me.

- My home made setups worked great, but they just affirmed that I needed and wanted the adjustable rig.

- I bought the rig and have done several cooks on it across many cooking styles (steaks, salmon, chicken, pork butt, vegetables).  Its been exactly as I thought and dreamed it would be!  I love the stability of it (vs homemade) and also the incredible flexibility.  I'm extremely impressed with it, its design, and its craftsmanship.

- Ceramic Grill Store service is fast and excellent.  I had an issue with a weld on my oval grid and Tom quickly sent a replacement

All I can say, is that I'm fan (one of many) of both the Adjustable Rig and also the Ceramic Grill Store!!!!  I highly recommend both!

Tom is great from everything I've heard. I'm lucky enough to live about 20 minutes from him, and I plan on heading to his shop when I get some free time to see how all the different combo's work. I plan on getting the adjustable rig/woo combo.

Tom spent 30 minutes on the phone with me AFTER I told him I was already ordering. I was already sold and he spent all that time making sure I got what I WANTED! He is a great guy, he really cares, that is hard to come by these days. I love mine! Will order anything and everything from the CGS simply because of the customer service and top quality product.

  • Between Franco, Tom, and Chris (Dizzy) we are very fortunate to have such great guys to help us spend our money :) I would definitley add the Whiz into that group even though he is not directly selling anything to us. I have never heard a bad word mentioned about any of them or any of their products/sites. Pretty amazing when you think about how much play they all get on here.

Now for biggreeneggtables.com..................not so much :))

He sent two of those in for the auctions at Porkopolis.  Really wish I would have won one!

    Awsome guy's,

but i live in Canada and don't have stores that have woo's and all the good accessories.  Today I went to the egg distributor and bought a 3 teir grill.  He used to have a large egg in his showroom but, since is gone.  I see they have whirlpools now.  Thier interest is not in eggs, anytime I ask them a question they have to look in a book for an answer (LOL).

Anyway, the 3-trir grill works very good for raised direct for me.  - better than my makeshift thing I made.  So I'm happy

Not sure Tom sells his stuff in stores. Think you have to order it online.

Received my Woo 2 and AR yesterday... haven't had time to try them out yet. Too busy working on the table. However, I do have a few racks of ribs in the fridge just waiting for tomorrow afternoon!
Gonna get their break in run then.
