pizza question

So I just read an older post on cooking pizza on the plate setter itself instead of a pizza stone. What difference would it make? As long as you clean the plate setter well enough. They are both a high heat ceramic right (more than likely)? If you turn the plate setter legs down it looks like a pizza stone to me.

you can do it but will more than likely end up with burnt crust.
you need another layer if you use a high heat, at least that has been my experience.

Okay. Thanks. Glad I didn't try it yet.
