It's national but I couldn't find it through Groupon directly. Had to google it. http://www.groupon.com/deals/dc-j41-gg-grillgrates-grate-toolCedar Park, TX

Looks like you have to trim off the corners. http://www.mygrillgrate.com/product_p/rbgel.htmDo I need to cut teh set of 3 down??

Shipping isn't included. $5 added. I've been wanting a set of these but $70+ shipped was a bit of a reach.
$54 shipped made it very doable.
-
No trimming required. Go to their website and you will see a set for the BGE. I've had a set for two years and you just sit them on top of your regular grid.

What is the advantage over the standard/stock grate and also a cast iron grate?

FYI, if you haven't bought from Groupon yet and want this deal here is a link. Click on "Fourth of July" on the top right and scroll to near the bottom of the page. http://www.groupon.com/r/uu7609616

I don't personally own them as I am a newbie at this thing, however, I know some people on this forum own them. You do not have to cut them, go to their shop and you can see they have a size specifically for the BGEs.
-
Bmeir, see the below link. The bottom picture on the page shows the size for the XL.

Your welcome. Always looking to help a fellow egger empty a waller .

Well, I didn't see a sale for the pre-trimmed ones, so I might just have to do some rigging...

I don't want to worry anyone here but I was enquiring about the groupon add as far as my bge xl goes and thought I would share the response:no the Groupon deal is just for our standard 13.75" universal size. You may want to contact Ontario BBQ and Gas.OR we ship out of here every day. Thanks, bradBrad BarrettGrillGrate, LLCBetter Grilling By Design678.361.4491 cell877.380.2527 faxOn Jun 21, 2012, at 3:04 PM, wrote:Hi There,Is the GrillGrates for the XL Big Green Egg and all 24" diameter grills + GrateTool posted here:part of the groupon offer that is posted here:Thanks

Forget Groupon. Buy a set of GrillGrates for your egg and use them for everything you grill. You won't be disappointed.

There's nothing to worry about with the groupon if you have a Large or just want them for your gasser.GrillGrates is selling the standard 13.75" kit for the groupon deal. If you want them to work on a Large you would order the set of 3 and trim the corners, which is all they do to make the kit for BGE. http://grillgrate.com/kamadogrills.htm . They're aluminum so it won't be difficult. They'll obviously work on a XL without any cutting but won't fill the grid like the 20" ones they use for the XL kits ($117 shipped). If you don't want to trim the corners for your Large, don't buy the groupon deal for $49 shipped, buy them pre-cut from grillgrates.com for $74 shipped.
