Bachelor Steak (again) and Stuffed Shrooms Photo Essay 6-2-12

Once again, so I can see the photos it will be text first and then pics in the first response.

Bachelor night again while the spouse and the youngest shop for mother-of-the-bride dresses.

Steak, stuffed mushrooms, and corn.

The photos speak to what I did with the shrooms.  This is the first time I added pepperoni, and if you do skip a sprinkle of sea salt.  Also, the shrooms should be done ahead and eaten just warm or at room temperature.  Finishing with the entree they are too hot and juicy.

Strip steak.  All done at 450, and checked frequently for condition.

No Mavricks on this kind of cook.

Patio?  Just a regular concrete deck.

Oh.  It looked like that pebbletec stuff like they use on new playgrounds.  I am looking for somebdy that has had it for a while to see how it holds up, and what the weak/strong points are...I have a paver deck, and i just don't like it...weeds, ants......thanks for the response!  Happy egging!

We had Chattahoochee pebble deck when we move in.  It was awful.  This is just a colored, textured concrete.  We did do the pool in a pebble surface, and it looks great.

Thanks for taking the time to respond!  I am new to this community, and am finding alot of hospitality.  Seems like a great place to be for the most part.  I have been out of work because of a neck surgery for the past couple of weeks, so I got to chase alot of these threads.  Tomorrow, i go back to work, so I wil have alot less time, butI intend to be as active as I can because there is alot of good information here!

    Have a great day!
