I made beef and spinach crêpes, which were essentially cannelloni's except for the wrappings.  Washed it down with a good Côtes du Rhône and berries for dessert.

Crepes were too delicate to make on the Egg.  I did them on the stove.

Crêpes and Côtes du Rhône! Yer gittin all continental on us big guy! Very impressed. My mom used to do a scallop and shrimp coquille st jaques crêpe with an emmenthal sauce. It was out of this world. The recipe is in an book in an unopened box but when I dig it out I'll get it to you if yo want

Thanks, Steve, and "small world".  I have been eyeing a coquille st jaques recipe for awhile.  I was thinking of trying a stuffed scallops recipe for tomorrow.

    Gary,

This cookbook was put out by Seagrams distilleries. The seafood is poached in wine and rum and butter. Before the internet but is was called "The spirit of hospitality"

Very nicely done!  Yeah, I wouldn't want to do crepes on an Egg either (although I'm sure it could be done).

Crepes look delicious.  I like the combo of beef and spinach and I agree the wok is on the short list.

SSG Strickland.  When we invade France, as an occupying force, you are going to have to learn how to eat the food of the locals.   They won't have chile con queso.  Just trying to edjumacate you.   [-X

I might try some mais in place for my wok but, that stuff needs some queso. The idea of invading France is appealing though. At least it's not so darn hot and they dont hide their women. I have a theory about how crappy climate and sexual repression causes suicide bombers. In our down time Soldiers play a little game. It's called "I'd rather kill myself than...." You would be surprised what comes up on the list.

I've posted a lot of cooks.

    Some were heralded as fantastic.

Some got only a couple of polite replies.

But, none (until now) have ever reminded a poster of a game called "I'd rather kill myself than ...".

    :((

I was going to post tonight's dinner, but ..... nah.

Gary your food and plating look great
I have been toying with doing a crepe cake for a fest. I will try to do the creeps on the egg. I will be ordering at $11 pan from amazon. No way it will use my good one on the egg.
