Well I was given the opportunity to do a review on the Bone Sukin Sauce. I have did a few cook with it and so far I am exremelly impressed with it! This sauce is made by all natural product, gluten free and fat free!

Check out the review here:

I hope you enjoyed this review! If you have tried this sauce as well feel free to comment on your experience with it!

Happy Grilling!

Good to know Shawn. I appreciate the post and I will definately try it out now because you recommend it so highly. I have found a store semi-locally that sells it and quite honestly, due to the toned down, plain jane labeling I probably would not have tried it. ( Always leary of food sold in a hardware store that looks to be packaged in a mason jar ) The coloring always kind of weirded me out too but your review makes it look good. Thanks !

Years ago a friend of mine came from visiting his family in NC with a quart bottle of BBQ sauce from a place called Bubba BBQ.
I swear the bottle it was in was a white quart Motor oil bottle with a crooked printed sticker!
Great sauce from what I remember.
I think that was the incident that got me started on looking for good real BBQ.

My last rib cook was two racks of SLC's, one finished with Bone Suckin Sauce, the other with Blues Hog. I had never tried either before. I realize they are different types of sauces, so this may not be a fair comparison. I do some small time competition cooks during the summer and I wanted to try these. The wife liked the BH better, I liked the Bone Suckin. Either way, both sauces will remain in my arsenal. Because I add brown sugar after I apply my rub, I think the it pushed the BH ribs a little too sweet for my taste. I'm gonna use the Blues Hog as a glaze on the next meat loaf I do on the egg.

Sorry Shawn I wasn't trying to sway this away from the Bone Suckin Sauce bringing up the BH, the Bone Suckin is a keeper for me.

To me the bone sucking sauce is crap compared to blues hog not even in the same league. Blues hog 50/50 original and red is the best sauce available. A neighbor of mine brought over the bone sucking rub and I made a.tri tip last week and the rub wasn't very good either. Not sure how this was put in the same class as blues hog. I made 2 tri tips and the 2nd was morro bay richs and even the guy that brought the bone sucking rub said it wasn't very good compared to the home made rub.

Sauces and rubs are very subjective. I like Blues Hog, but there are several competitive BBQ teams that sell their sauces in limited qualities that blow it way IMO. Like I said, very subjective.
  • Why put sauce on Tri tip, Its got its own natural flavor??????????
