I broke my damper top about 2 months ago and i am so happy I did. Lara did a fantastic job and I can not recommend her enough. She will take whatever design you have and turn it into a true piece of art for your egg!!! If you are interested please go to her website

  • I saw her post a picture of that before painting/firing. AWESOME!

Just email her your idea. I sent a jpeg and she worked with me. I think she charged $120 with shipping. Worth twice as much

$120.00 for a unique handmade to order piece of art work? That's a bargain. I think there will be a Bucky Badger or Green Bay Packer in the future...

Trust me you will not be disappointed. She is very talented. I would love to see how the pig turned out after is was painted, glazed and fired.

You got that right.  Been thinking about a big yellow Packers helmet on top of the green egg.

That's really cool!!  I've been kicking around a pig to match my handles, but I went and bought a mini and have to build up my stash again.

OK, i showed this to the Mrs, and now I have to slow her down because I need cooking accessories first.

I'm sure Lara would be happy to do one of those for you. I did go through NC State University to obtain copyright permission. Very easy process, just emailed there copyright department and told them my grill was for personal use and they granted me permission.

Now.......if she can figure out a way to incorporate an adjustable vent into the sculpture, tell me that wouldnt be the BOMB.......

That would be the $hit. I didn't think about that. I bet she could put some sort of swivel on it kinda of like the cast iron daisey wheel design.
