Introduction and 1st cook on my new XL

Long time lurker here. Just got my new XL set up yesterday. I built a table months ago, but we ended up moving and my egg project was put on hold for awhile. I recently sold my offset smoker and decided to pull the trigger on an XL. I am new to the egg but not new to smoking. I plan on getting another large soon as you can tell from my table design. Anyway tonight we did BB's on the XL to break her in. Turned out excellent. I am on a learning curve with temp control however, this unit definitely cooks different than my offset, but I absolutely love the steady temps through the cook. I was constantly feeding wood to my offset. Thanks for all I have learned from you so far. I am now officially hooked on the egg.

Lookin' real good! Nice table too!Good choice going with the XL. I would have gotten the XL over the L but I got mine from an eggfest and they didn't have the XL for the demo price.LBGE, Weber OTG w/ Rotisserie, Weber Genesis S-330, Chargriller Duo, AR-15, AK-47

Thanks. I have had that table for about 8 months now and with some unexpected expenses that came up when we moved, I was beginning to wonder if I would ever get an egg to put in it or just end up selling it. There is an eggfest coming to Sacramento in October which I plan on going to and bringing home another large to complete the setup.
