Cazzy, when I tried to install the photobucket it said my iOS needed updated to 4.3. What does that mean?
-
That means your firmware isn't up to date. The current iOS is 5.0.1 so you need to plug your iPhone into your PC or Mac using the doc cable. Make sure to back-up before you upgrade.
iOS 5 has pretty cool features including iCloud and iMessage.Just a hack that makes some $hitty BBQ.... -
This all assuming your phone isn't jailbroken.Just a hack that makes some $hitty BBQ....

Hey cazz I don't want to sound stupid, but when I plug it in do I have to do anything?? I am a dumb truck driver I have no computer skills!!!!
-
No worries lol. If iTunes doesn't open automatically, you will need to open iTunes on your computer. You'll likely have to update iTunes too but it will prompt you and say iTunes is out of date. You will also get a prompt saying there is a new firmware available.
Before doing anything, let it back-up. It will do it automatically of you sync.Just a hack that makes some $hitty BBQ.... -
Will a apple lap top work?? My main pc is down I am doing everything from my I phone.
-
Yes. Keep in mind that if your Mac doesn't have your music, you'll likely lose your music unless you used your Mac when you set up your iPhone.
All the more reason to update your iPhone first.
Here are some instructions I found right quick for ya.

Thank you very much for taking the time to explain it.

Yes I did back everything up but my phone is a company provided phone backed up on company provided pc (all with security software) and if you don't follow their instructions exactly you have problems. Come to find out they left out steps and corrected it after my problems. Nothing like starting all over again... NOT. It did help me clean out all my unused contacts.Ouch!! Did you not back up 1st?? Sorry to hear about that. :(

After plugging your iPhone into a computer, it will recognize it as a device under My Computer. You can then copy/cut all your photos to your computer. This is a manual photo back up so to speak.
I also use gmail exchange for all my contacts so nothing is stored on the phone. iCloud has a similar function and also has photo stream which syncs your photos across all your apple devices.Just a hack that makes some $hitty BBQ.... -

There isn't a egghead app (not that I'm aware of lol). Just go to Safari and go to www.eggheadforum.com
It will pull up in mobile friendly mode.
