Almost!  I have had my egg for about 6 months now and absolutely love it.  I have done steak, ribs, chicken, butts, pizza, poppers, you name it.  I use it every time I can.

I am smoking a butt for and after party tonight, about 11:30 by the time our hockey game wraps up.  To get the timing right, I have to cook all through the day.  To accomplish this, I decided to work from home to keep an eye on things.   I woke up at 4:30 and got the fire started.  It leveled out to 245 at the grate about about 5:00.  Threw the butt on and set my alarms.  I have the remote thermometer which is sitting on my desk as I work.  I have sat here for most of the day, the dang grate temp will not move.  It has been sitting at 245 - 248 ALL day.  This is kind of boring.

Ok, just kidding.  Love my EGG!!!

  • Since there are no pictures, I am postulating that this is one big fabrication; an illusion in your mind.  In and of itself, it is not dangerous, but if the Egg starts talking to you, seek help as soon as possible.

My egg speaks to me all the time.  Is there something wrong with that??.......LOL
  • No pictures?  I got your no pictures.

Notice the butt temp.  Stalled at 177.  I hate the stall, but know to be patient.

And my Egg has started talking to me.  I am seeking help by talking to my gasser, but it is dumber than dirt and has nothing to say.

  • Nice.   =D>

Actually Chubs it is stained concrete.  Concrete was poured, leveled, base color put in, textured, then the lines put in by hand with a tool that simply looked like a stick.  A few days later they came and added more color.
  • I talk to my egg and hug it. My neighbors think I'm crazy, my wife thinks I'm dumb, my dog thinks I'm awesome and I think I'm just Gettin started Go there. I write it.
  • When I return home from business trips, the first thing I do is check to make sure the egg is still right where I left it. I know it's weird, but I can't help it.

  • I don't hug my egg but I will give it a little pat every now and then when it does something good.

Mac user with a BGE you're half way to be being a good guy, now all you need is cold beer.

    Looks like a great setup

  • The coaster for the thermometer is a really nice touch.

Kinda weird actually.  I bet you are one of those people that have friends who come over and move pictures and stuff around, cause you have everything in a certain place and in a certain direction.  And then they watch you as you walk around the house rearranging their funniness because you have OCD.

That patio is not weird, this shiz is awesome!

Paul Go there. I write it.

That's hilarious, I know people like. I do love to move things around and see how long it takes for then to move it back. Not very long usually.
