Don't know about BGE, but I will state Maverick is a great product. I am sure BGE just copied pretty much exactly.

From what I saw in the new magazine it is a Mav et732 with big green egg on it.Geaux Tigers!!!

FWIW, I've picked up the BGE wireless thermometer, and the model number is et732BGE, so yes, its the same just rebranded.

79.99 for the bge, not sure on the Mav
btw, used it on an overnight cook and it scared the sh*t out of me at 3am when the butt hit 195 and it beeped.
done early, and it save the cook.
