Howdy.  Thought I'd introduce myself.  I've been grilling since I was in middle school and making BBQ since 2002.  I recently sold my offset smoker and bought a BGE, mainly because I'd like to make Q 12 months out of the year and I'd like to get a little sleep when I do butts/brisket.  I got my BGE on Saturday, and did her first cook on Sunday, making three slabs of spareribs in the snow, while it was 16 degrees outside.

I would NEVER have even attempted such a ridiculous thing with my offset, but the BGE held temp like a champ!  The ribs weren't my best, but I'll get used to the egg and I'm confident my ribs and brisket can only improve with the improved temperature control I'm able to achieve.

Looking forward to lurking and learning.
