Can't take credit for this one... Its from Paul Kirk's Championship Barbecue book.1 cup cider vinegar2 tablespoons granulated cane sugar1 tablespoon dry mustard (I use Colman’s)1 teaspoon crushed red pepper1 teaspoon fine sea salt1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper1/2 teaspoon celery saltCombine all the ingredients in a small nonreactive saucepan and bring to a boil. Reduce the heat to medium-low and simmer for 15 minutes.

The Naked Whiz has a great page with Elder Ward's recipes. There are two sauce recipes: Traditional And Piedmont Style.
Mary Lee's "I fought the slaw, and the slaw won" Cole Slaw recipe is the best I've ever had to accompany some pulled pork.
I like the traditional NC Sauce with my pulled pork.
