Can't take credit for this one... Its from Paul Kirk's Championship Barbecue  book.
    1 cup cider vinegar
    2 tablespoons granulated cane sugar
    1 tablespoon dry mustard (I use Colman’s)
    1 teaspoon crushed red pepper
    1 teaspoon fine sea salt
1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
     1/2 teaspoon celery salt
Combine all the ingredients in a small nonreactive saucepan and bring to a boil. Reduce the heat to medium-low and simmer for 15 minutes.

The Naked Whiz has a great page with Elder Ward's recipes. There are two sauce recipes: Traditional And Piedmont Style.

Mary Lee's "I fought the slaw, and the slaw won" Cole Slaw recipe is the best I've ever had to accompany some pulled pork.

I like the traditional NC Sauce with my pulled pork.
