Cooking/Smoking Turkey on inverted place setter or cooking grid?

Any thoughts to the best placement of the turkey when you cook/smoke on the BGE?

    This seems about fine. High up on adj rig.....
    Salado TX Egg Family: 3 Large and a very well used Mini, added a Mini Max when they came out (I'm good for now).

    We did ours with the plate setter legs up.


  • I left my BGE grate in put the plate setter legs up in top of it, used the bge feet on the PS to raise my roasting pan off the plate setter so my drippings for MM's gravy wont burn
