Louisville KY Eggfest

Great time had by all in Louisville last weekend. This was my first time cooking for the public, let alone cooking for a competition. Their competition was a pork specific competition. We hung out in the parking lot all night cooking a couple of butts which I brined, injected and rubbed generously with some Dizzy Dust. Butts were foiled and covered in a cooler well before the start of the fest. We started the fest by cooking some pizza, pork loins, corn, and ABTs. For the competition I decided to present the pulled pork as sliders, on hawaiian rolls, and topped with a ABT held on with a toothpick. Kind of a pulled pork slider dagwood.
