Salado TX & 30A FL: Egg Family: 3 Large and a very well used Mini, added a Mini Max when they came out (I'm good for now). Plus a couple Pit Boss Pellet Smokers. -
Great combo on the Egg. Did you grow the squash? Mine will bloom but to hot for them to set and just fall off. :(

I don't know but I totally agree! There is a difference in taste and they do cook better.

I'm not sure. I've heard a scientific reason for it in the past, but I forgot. All I know is they do, I like them better and nothing beats gnawing on that bone when you are done, trying to get every last morsel of meat off of it.
