I can see the picture in a browser tab but it isn't showing up in the preview window. I'll post and see if it comes up when submitted.

Try re-copying the "IMG code" into the post. It is truncated, and missing the opening (IMG) tag.
If I recall, that's a lamb leg you were going to cook. Looks very good. Congrats on your cook! -
Very tasty looking!

His link is odd, it won't code in.
Besides the opening bracket there is space in the closing tag 'i mg' not 'img'
I can put his code directly into a tab and see the picture but when I add the img and /img the picture won't show up in the post.
I used the forum green opening and closing tag's it still wouldn't work. There is something there I am not seeing.

Can't see your pic......maybe this will work. No guarantees!
-
something to do with the part of the code that reads 'view¤t'. The browser tab translates the '¤t' to '&'id.
Possibly the forum won't allow that change to happen.
Sort of like the forum not accepting any mixed case in the 'img' opening or closing tag. The 'img' codes have to all be in lower case only to allow the preview to show a picture.

John, what did you change? or did you copy the code that worked back into the post?

my primary browser is locked down, and, among other things, does not accept cookies, or allow javascript or flash. I used an alternate browser, which is, umm, nekkid, and could copy the IMG link. I also noticed the tags are now embedded in Flash, so they are no longer just a text string, but something presented via a program statement.

Copied this much of the code in his post :
http://s1210.photobucket.com/albums/cc414/vestanpance1/?action=view¤t=DSC01475.jpg
and pasted this in the browser window to get to his PB pic, then just copied the IMG code there. -
Which browser are you using? That is what I tried to do above but firefox wouldn't work.

Safari on a MacBook Pro........
-
Oh you mac users...
It's odd you can copy the code in from Photobucket and it works but using windows, IE9 or firefox4 won't.

It worked on my iMac! I really learned something. Thanks, John!Judy in San Diego

Nice to see you have truly crossed the line.
1. Got a ceramic cooker
2. Joined the forum
3. Taken photos of food cooked on barbecue
4. posted them on here
Top tip when you mention this at work don't expect people to embrace it and definitely don't mention "the naked whiz" !
Great looking cook btw -

Funny you mention the naked whiz thing. His site is actually Websensed at my work I believe due the the word "naked" in the site name. I would find it hard to believe the internets censorship people would be offended by charcoal reviews.
Also, wait until you show up at work in February telling people you bbq'd over the weekend. Just doesn't happen here.
One more recommendation...when you find a charcoal you like, stock up. It seems to disappear from many places during the non-summer months. -
Egret, you sir are obviously better at IT than me - you managed to get my pic when I am still failing!
What's the secret?
I uploaded pics on photobucket, copied them in the 'IMG' field, logged onto the forum, clicked paste in the message field, highlighted the code and clicked IMG again. So frustrated - it still doesn't work! Maybe it's a Mac thing...
Anyway, I will concentrate on cooking rather than IT code, it's much more fun!
PS, has anyone tried oysters on the BGE? I'm off to the seaside to buty some this afternoon!
