Lamb chops and mussels

Got lucky with a great batch of mussels, they have been hit and miss lately. This was my first time were every mussel in the bag got used. No dead ones, all of them opened :woohoo:
This has to be one of the quickest meals off the Egg, and the results are amazing
Some pics
The raws, just bacon, onion and some shrooms
Bacon cookin up
Mussels added and finished with some cream when done
Some lamb chops and sweet taters
Everything ready, with some garlic bread(need lots)
The mussel broth was very tasty
Wow, these were good
Could have licked this clean,yes those are finger marks
Trying these again tonight for friends coming over.

Great looking meal. About how long did the potatoes have to cook sliced like that? Seems like a quick way when you don't have much time.

I used 1/2 a beer in with all the goodness from the bacon/onion/shrooms.
There was also some butter in there.

Did you see where the mussels were from on the tag? Usually when I get some good ones, I try to get them from the same farm the next time.Happily egging on my original large BGE since 1996... now the owner of 5 eggs. Call me crazy, everyone else does!

Our seafood selection,at our local supermarket,would make you cry :laugh:
Went for more today, and they don't seem as fresh.
